What Is Latisse?

Latisse is a medical treatment to enhance the length and prominence of eyelashes. The active ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost, is the same active ingredient in drops used to treat glaucoma.  Patients discovered that one of the side effects of the drop was longer, fuller lashes.  The drop was repackaged for topical cosmetic use on the upper lashes. The treatment is applied to your upper eyelashes once a day. Within 8 weeks, you will see visible results. Typically it takes up to 16 weeks to achieve maximum results with Latisse.
